
Over the past five years, the company has secured contracts worth a total of €6.1 million, accounting for nearly 21% of the total value of all contracts awarded by the municipality.
With seven successful public procurement contracts, Techno Stroy Bulgaria has become the largest recipient of funding for infrastructure projects in Dryanovo Municipality, according to Sigma, the public procurement transparency platform.
Top contractors
Other major contractors carrying out municipal projects in Dryanovo include Infra Build Project, with public contracts worth €4 million, and Building Comfort, with contracts totalling €3.2 million.
Together, these companies form the core of the contractors handling the bulk of the municipality’s infrastructure investment.
Road repairs and construction account for the largest share
Techno Stroy Bulgaria specialises in road construction and repairs. Over the past five years, it has carried out seven projects in Dryanovo Municipality, four of them funded through European programmes.
The largest contract is for the reconstruction of a municipal road, including the Tryavna–Tsareva Livada–Kumanite section, worth €1.8 million. It was awarded following a procurement procedure in 2023.
The following year, the company won another public contract for road repairs worth €1.5 million.
These are the largest projects awarded to the company in terms of value. The remaining contracts range between €350,000 and €750,000 and are again related to road rehabilitation.
At national level, during the period covered by Sigma’s data, Techno Stroy Bulgaria won a total of €90 million in public procurement contracts, with 41% of them financed through European programmes.
Millions more for roads
Infra Build Project ranks second in Dryanovo in terms of its share of municipal procurement, accounting for 13.1% of all contracts awarded by the municipality and worth a total of €4 million.
Other major contractors include Building Comfort, with €3.2 million in contracts; Monolit-T, with €2.8 million; Patni Stroeji – Veliko Tarnovo, with €1.3 million; and Kozirog-95, with €1.1 million.
Between November 2020 and June 2026, Dryanovo Municipality awarded a total of 112 contracts to 61 contractors worth €29.3 million.
Around 20% of this funding came from European sources, while approximately 80% of the projects were in the construction sector, underscoring the dominant role of construction companies in absorbing public funds.
